Cadillac has made a car for couples who are really into each other
The InnerSpace autonomous concept car includes a single loveseat, and just made its debut at CES2022
At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, Cadillac unveiled the InnerSpace car concept in a short film which was every bit as slick as the two-seater luxury vehicle.
The autonomous car boasts a spacious cabin with a ‘loveseat’ which fits two people and features a panoramic screen that spans the front where passengers can choose between Augmented Reality Engagement, Entertainment, and Wellness Recovery themes for their drive on the curved display. Of course seeing the road itself doesn’t matter, as the car is self driving.
Cadillac unveiled the car with a cinematic teaser video, which features a genetically blessed couple exploring the world in their new coupe. The seats themselves pivot outwards allowing passengers to more easily enter the craft.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Cadillac opted for an online presentation of their new model rather than attending CES in person this year. The company, which is owned by General Motors, claims that its “new InnerSpace concept reimagines that vision, with a fully autonomous experience that allows two passengers to focus on their journey rather than driving.”
“Electrification and autonomous driving will fundamentally change the role of vehicles and the experiences customers have with them,’ explained GM’s executive director Bryan Nesbitt. (GM is the parent company of Cadillac)
The Cadillac InnerSpace will also feature the most up-to-date technology, such as “biometric input and AI machine learning,” according to the company.
The vehicle is also equipped with ‘silent’ Goodyear tires that feature SoundComfort technology.
Now all you need is to find someone to ride with.
