Apple is worried about our mental health

In the new iOS update, Apple introduced some surprising new additions that put users mental health first. Have you noticed them?

The updates include new a ‘privacy dashboard’ which allows you to see the permissions that you have granted your iPhone.

The most exciting new feature is called ‘Focus’, and works by creating profiles such as work, home and personal. Each profile then picks which apps and contacts are able to notify you or not. This is with an aim to give users a better work-life balance. Each profile can also have its own home screen, so in activating work mode you can only see work related apps.

But what happens if someone needs to contact me when I am in another mode? They have that covered too. Those contacting you whilst in a silenced work mode will be notified that notifications are not on, however they have the option to notify you right away if the message is urgent.

What do you think of the new update?

Have you created personal, work and home settings?
